Julian Guilfoyle is the Vice President of Cooper and Adel Financial and one of our investment advisors. After graduating from The Ohio State University, Julian joined our law firm as a healthcare case manager. There he implemented legal strategies to help our clients obtain benefits through the Veterans Administration as well as financial relief to help them cope with at-home care, assisted living and nursing home costs. In 2010 Julian transitioned to the financial company and began focusing on how to protect retirement accounts when faced with catastrophic healthcare costs. He has since developed several innovative strategies based on reducing or eliminating federal taxes on retirement accounts.
Julian is one of only three members of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Group in Ohio. This group is a prestigious national group of legal, financial and tax professionals that have extensive IRA experience. Julian spends the majority of his time working alongside Attorney Lauren Cooper in the area of longevity planning. Together they develop plans that maximize our clients' Social Security and pension benefits and minimize the taxation on their retirement accounts. He maintains health and life insurance licenses as well as the Series 63, 65 and 7.
Julian was born in Mansfield, Ohio and is an avid Cleveland sports fan. He and his wife have two children, Abraham and Scarlett, as well as four cats. They live on a small farm in Centerburg, Ohio where Julian maintains a fruit and vegetable garden and is in the process of developing an orchard. He is a proud board member of Ollie’s Footprints, a non-profit charity that assists mothers who have miscarried.
